The obstetric practice is the hub of in the Birth Centre. This is where many pregnant women arrive at the centre, and the midwives direct them to all its other activities. To guarantee a small-scale approach, the midwives are divided into two small teams. They work together closely within the teams, each of which serves a different part of the city.
