Registration and reservation
You can register to have your baby at the Birth House via our website. You can also call us on +31 (0)20 685 38 98. Your registration is only final when we have received a deposit of € 400,-, payable to Geboortehuis bank account number 65.32.61.519, mentioning your name and the invoice number. We will send you a confirmation by e-mail.

To ensure a high quality of care, we much prefer it if our own maternity assistants and doulas attend the birth and assist you during the subsequent week. We train them specially to offer extra service, support and attention. Please register with the Maternity Care Centre as early as possible during your pregnancy so that – as with the Birth House – we can reserve a maternity assistant or doula for you in good time. You can register in writing or via the website.

When you contact us we’ll send you an information leaflet. Your registration is final when we’ve officially received all your details and your deposit. You can register via our website. When we’ve received your deposit we’ll send you a confirmation by e-mail. The remaining € 800,- should be paid before the 36^th week of your pregnancy to the bank account number above. If you have your baby at the Birth House without registering and paying in advance, you should pay by debit card on departure.

If you live elsewhere in the Netherlands or in another country, you can still register to have your baby at the Birth House.  You can ask at the reception for advice on affordable places to stay in and around Amsterdam in the run-up to the birth. We have special arrangements with a number of comfortable hotels in the neighbourhood. See the website for more information.
