The Amsterdam Birth Centre is a foundation. Beatrijs Smulders and Jons and Els Hensel make up its board of governors. Beatrijs Smulders is the director and Netje Reezigt the deputy director. The independent departments that fall under the centre’s umbrella have a cooperation agreement with the Amsterdam Birth Centre Foundation. The Amsterdam Birth Centre has a longstanding collaborative relationship with the various medical disciplines and institutions in and around the city of Amsterdam.
