For expectant and new parents, the Birth Shop is like a warm bath of personal and expert attention. It’s not just friendly, but it also looks beautiful. Whenever you come in you can spend ages looking round and there’ll always be something that appeals to you. The Birth Shop has everything you need for pregnancy, birth, babies and toddlers: fun, attractive and useful quality products with the Birth Shop ‘seal of approval.’ The shop was set up by midwife Beatrijs Smulders and aims to give parents-to-be and new parents as much information as possible on everything to do with pregnancy, birth and parenting. So in this homely shop there are always expert staff available to answer your questions. In the Information Corner there is a reading table with a carefully chosen selection of books, children’s books and leaflets, where you can sit and read, chat and enjoy a pot of tea, without any obligation to buy anything. You can also watch videos on birth, breastfeeding or baby massage. And there’s an easy chair where you can sit and breastfeed. | |
